I LOVE taking engagement photos on the beach, but this time we mixed it up! When Jenna and Cameron inquired with me, they really loved the idea of having their photos on a sailboat. First of all, how cool is that!! I’m so lucky that I find couples (or, rather, they find me) who have such fun ideas for their session. Anyways! They were super set on this vision, so I knew I had to make it happen. We had a hard time finding the perfect sailboat that also allowed photos, but I was determined! I remembered that my 4th-grade teacher had a sailboat, so I ended up reaching out to her, and she and her husband offered to take us out on their boat! I was so excited that the stars were totally aligning for this engagement session.

If you’re planning on taking Newport Harbor engagement photos, this is a sign to take the leap! We had the best time ever, starting our session on the docks and then sailing until sunset. How romantic does that sound? If you’ve never thought about renting a sailboat, just do it! I promise you won’t ever regret it. It added such a unique vision to their photos and an experience Jenna and Cameron will never forget. They trusted in me completely and went along with all of the prompts I gave them, which is how we turned out with such great photos.
