I don’t do maternity sessions often, but I’m so glad I did this one!! Maddie and Simon wanted to document their very first pregnancy and I’m so happy they chose me to photograph them. Their Orange County maternity session was TOO GOOD, I can’t wait to show you the photos!!
Maddie + Simon’s Maternity Session in California
Like I said before, I don’t do family or maternity sessions very often. But when Maddie and Simon inquired with me, I just couldn’t say no!! We decided to do their session at a green, grassy field in Orange County to really embody the nature vibes. Although they were a little shy in front of the camera, they absolutely killed it!!! They didn’t take it too seriously and were really just their authentic, fun selves. We had so many laughs and I could barely handle how freaking adorable they were!!
As the session went on and they got more and more comfortable, it felt like they totally forgot the camera was there. The love they have for each other was so apparent and they totally leaned into that during their maternity session. They’re so so so excited to welcome their baby girl into the world!
Not to mention their outfits were ON POINT! What they wore totally matched the location – they went with all neutral colors that complemented each other perfectly. They weren’t completely matching, but their outfits went together so well! Maddie was GLOWING in her simple black dress, then she changed into a more casual denim button-up and leggings. They are going to be the coolest, most stylish parents ever!!
